Sera’s Progress

It seems like money comes much more quickly, lately. It’s not just that Ceire is at the level cap, because it’s happening for Sera more than it is for Ceire. It’s been fortunate. I’m not flush with pretend cash or anything, but I was able to buy Sera’s epic flight skill on Friday (and then save another thousand for a second druid spec, and am halfway to the money for Sera’s second spec).
It also seems like the experience is coming more quickly. It took a real push, it felt like, to get Ceire up to 80, and to get Sera up to 70. Seventy to 75 or so went at a decent pace, but I wouldn’t say it was fast. These last two levels, though, 77 and 78, have just zoomed by. I think I made 78 in a day or two. It seems like that can’t possibly be right, but I’m pretty sure I just made 77 at the beginning of the weekend. And I still have almost full rested XP. (It was at about 130% when I logged out last night.)
Also also, I discovered that I can make some really nifty blue armor for myself if I can just get enough leather to do it. I think I’m going to push for 80 first, but the temptation is there to go out and do a whole lot of skinning so I can make myself some new pretty things.
One thing that’s not easy: doing the Argent tournament Aspirant dailies at level 77. Those level 80 scourge kick my bottom. If I get two, I’m lucky to come out of it alive (unless I Vanish of course). Maybe I’m spoiled from constantly being over-leveled for the zone I’m questing in, but I don’t think that’s enough to account for this degree of difficulty. Now that I’m 78, I’m hoping it’ll be a little better. If not, I might have to hold off on the Argent dailies for Sera until she’s capped.
