Kalimdor Done, Finally
November 2nd, 2009 at 10:39 am (Games, World of Warcraft)
On Sunday morning, I finally finished the last few quests I needed to wrap up Loremaster of Kalimdor. I have to admit, I was nervous over the last twenty quests or so. It certainly looked like there weren’t going to be enough to carry me all the way to the end, and I figured I’d either have to do some instance quests or hunt for dropped quest-starting items. In the end, though, I still had two quests left in a chain once I was done.
Now, of course, I feel sort of at loose ends. I could start working on Outlands Loremaster (for which I have three zones that I have barely even touched, and one (Nagrand) that’s being a bear for the last ten quests), or work on my fishing (nine points left to Grandmaster), or farm for some pets (unreliable but rewarding), or work on faction with someone or other, or farm for some leather and get my Leatherworking skill up.
I sort of don’t want to go back to questing just yet. At the same time, the progress you’re making is never quite as clear as when you’re questing. Clear goals. Clear starts and finishes.
Oh! Also, I only need one more of the Dalaran Higher Learning books. It’s the one in the Visitor Center, and it is being a PITA! I have seen the placeholder for it no less than six times. I wish I had the time to really camp for it, but with my fairly limited play time, I just can’t sit in one place for what could be three or four hours. And that’s assuming that time doesn’t multiple due to ANOTHER PLACEHOLDER BOOK. Whew… I’m alright now. Honestly.
