Nine Muses

… though it didn’t turn as bad as I feared it might.  Last night, J helped me out with the group quests in Terokkar.  Unfortunately, at least one in Shattrath didn’t count (though others may have – it’s all very confusing) toward the achievement and I found myself out of quests with 61 of 63 complete.  I searched through the list of quests in the zone, but couldn’t find any I had missed and was eligible for.  It was frustrating, to say the least.

I moved on to Nagrand, in hopes that eventually something would lead me back and count for the Terokkar achievement.  J continued to help me with the Nagrand group quests (though I’d just barely started on Nagrand) and, luckily, one of those (the chain that starts with Altruis the Sufferer) just happened to have two quests that counted for Terokkar!  So, surprisingly, I was able to finish that achievement last night after all.

We also were both surprised (night before last) when we received the Medium Rare achievement.  I saw the rare (Crippler) as we were working on another quest and hollered, “Rare!”  J said, “Grab him!”  So I did.  And then we killed him and he dropped a nice blue ring and we nabbed a nice surprise achievement.  Of course, now we have to kill all the rares in Outlands for the next level of that achievement.
