Snarly is Too Cute
October 15th, 2009 at 8:12 am (Games, World of Warcraft)
On my fourth Shattrath fishing daily, the Crocolisks in the City quest finally showed up. I’d read that the drop rate on the pet reward for this had been upped to around 60% (from a previously reported 2%) and it looks like that might have been true. Snarly’s Bucket is now mine! He is really too too too cute. I’ve never really liked any of the other cold blooded pets (frogs and snakes and the like) so I wasn’t expecting to like him so much. He makes the cutest little, “Mmmeeeehhhh,” sound when you click on him too.
I also, apparently, have now done 50 daily quests. My routine lately has started to settle into doing five dailies (Two cooking, two fishing, and the Shattrath/Shattered Sun generic resource gathering), and then trying to figure out what to do with the little time I have left. I’m thinking that maybe, instead, I should work on dailies for a particular faction that will lead me to another goal. I’m just not sure where to focus. The Shattered Sun area is a little confusing. There are SO MANY quests and I really can’t do more than maybe five, if I’m lucky. It’s hard to decide where to start when faced with all those blue bangs. Suggestions are welcome. Maybe I’ll just try to make nice with the Timbermaw.

A DPS class can knock out all of the Shattered Sun dailies in 30 minutes to an hour.

You think so? At 70 or at 80?
I guess I’m going to have to try to figure out which quests are close together, for efficiency’s sake, or which are most profitable, for rep and someday-epic-mount’s sake.

That’s about how long it took me to do them, yeah. Probably closer to an hour, depending on drop rates (which I always have bad luck with). They’re not too hard if you do them in groups.

I found a post that says to do these quests, in this order:
1. Disrupt the Greengill Coast / Ley Lines
2. Don’t Stop Now…
3. The Battle Must Go On / Ley Lines
4. Crush the Dawnblade! / Ley Lines
5. Further Conversions
6. Arm the Wards
7. The Air Strikes Must Continue!
8. Keeping the Enemy at Bay
I’m going to try that tonight, and see how it goes.
